Purpose of Visitors’ Messages

Visitors’ Messages preserves the personal voice of Tandara family members and researchers who wish to leave a memory, note of thanks, short testimony or family story. It complements the genealogy but does not replace verified parish, civil or archival records.

Published only with permission

A message is published only with the author’s explicit permission. Information that is not needed to understand the message is not published, and the rules for protecting personal information are described in greater detail in the Privacy Policy.

From a message to an archival clue

A personal testimony can provide a valuable lead for further research, but genealogical information from a message is incorporated into the family archive only after it has been checked and compared with other sources.
